I have made the decision to remove the Crochet 101 portion of the site. My sister and I are in the process of co-authoring a book on crochet and knitting, and all the crochet information I have written about here will be in the book as well as more information and patterns. I will post a note letting you all know when the book is available and how to get a copy. We do not have a set time-frame at the moment; we are still in the early stages of creating this book so it may be a while. We are doing our best to get everything ready to publish ASAP, but I cannot make any promises on when exactly it will be made available for purchase. So please stay tuned. If you want to be among the first to know when this book is available, please register (registration link is located in the sidebar) and you will get an email letting you know when the book has been published.

I just realized I have reached my page limit with the free accounts from webs. (A somewhat unpleasant discovery when I clicked to create a new page!) Funds are low thus upgrading to a paid account is not an option for me.

So what does that mean for this site?

A couple things.

The new nail section I wanted to put up will NOT be added to the site. The Nail Polish 101 page will remain of course, but no further nail-related articles will be added.

All the Hair Care 101 pages and articles will also remain.

All the Crochet 101 pages as of now will also obviously remain, however new articles will instead have to be posted here on the blog rather than on any new pages to the site. So you will have to be sure to check the blog for new articles from here on out. This will mean things will be slightly less organized than I would prefer, but the posts will be separated into categories to make finding what you need a little easier. To select a category simply click the one you want to view in the sidebar to the right; you will be taken to all blog posts listed under that category.

I'd like to thank you for your understanding in this matter, and for your continued support of this site.

Also, I have NO idea why my profile is suddenly not working or why the most recent blog posts are shown as "by anonymous" - very odd. But I'd like to let you all know it is in fact me writing the new articles, not just some anonymous person! My profile is working in my control panel, everything appears to be fine, but when I view the site it's showing me as "anonymous", even when I click my profile link from previous articles. Odd indeed. If anyone has any idea why this is happening please comment on the blog and let me know, I would appreciate any insight on this matter!
